First Aid in WoW Forever
First Aid in Forever does more than bandages. Its first camp object, at skill 20, is a First Aid Kit that raises Stamina, and the beta client gives it healing potions and curatives such as poultices, tourniquets and an anti-venom.
Camp objects and buffs as on our WoW Forever professions and camping page, from Blizzard’s Deep Dive recap and Wowhead’s and Icy Veins’ beta guides; recipes from beta client build 1.60.1.69913. Last reviewed: .
What First Aid does in WoW Forever
Its other two camp objects, Toxin Study and the Plague Doctor’s Laboratory, are in the beta client, but no guide has described what they do yet.
First Aid camp objects
| Tier | Camp object and what it does | Skill |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | First Aid Kit — Stamina | 20 |
| Tier 2 | Toxin Study — effect not listed yet | 140 |
| Tier 3 | Plague Doctor’s Laboratory — effect not listed yet | 300 |
- The beta client (build 1.60.1.69913) has First Aid’s camp recipes at skill 20, 140 and 300.
- You need the profession to place an object, but anyone resting at the camp gets its effect. Objects can be traded, and crafting one makes two.

Does the First Aid camp buff stack with class buffs?
Camp buffs are variants of buffs that classes already bring, and Blizzard says they don’t stack with them: a camp fills in for a missing class rather than adding a second buff.
None of our sources names a class buff that one of First Aid’s camp objects collides with.
New First Aid recipes in the beta client
The beta client (build 1.60.1.69913) has 14 First Aid recipes whose spells the Classic Era client (1.15.9.69722) doesn’t have. The Era client also carries every Season of Discovery recipe, so those don’t count as new here. This is client data, not Blizzard’s list: a recipe in the files can change or never ship, and the files don’t say where you learn it.
The groups are the recipe categories of the profession window. Yellow and grey are the skill at which the client turns the recipe yellow (a skill-up is no longer certain) and grey (no more skill-ups); the skill you need to learn it isn’t in these tables.
Healing Potions (6)
| Recipe | Yellow | Grey |
|---|---|---|
| Minor Healing Potion | 55 | 95 |
| Lesser Healing Potion | 85 | 125 |
| Healing Potion | 135 | 175 |
| Greater Healing Potion | 175 | 215 |
| Superior Healing Potion | 230 | 270 |
| Major Healing Potion | 290 | 330 |
Curatives (8)
| Recipe | Yellow | Grey |
|---|---|---|
| Simple Poultice | 90 | 160 |
| Woolen Tourniquet | 120 | 190 |
| Clever Poultice | 160 | 220 |
| Leather Tourniquet | 220 | 280 |
| Superior Poultice | 225 | 285 |
| Potent Anti-Venom | 230 | 290 |
| Surgical Tourniquet | 280 | 340 |
| Powerful Poultice | 295 | 355 |
Blizzard counts 600+ new recipes across all professions; this list counts client records and leaves out the camp objects above, so the two numbers don’t have to match.
First Aid in the Legacy system
Forever’s account-wide Legacy system gives a Legacy Point the first time you take a tradeskill to 150, 225 and 300 skill, so First Aid alone is worth three. These perks touch it (first rank, as seen in the demo):
- Working Overtime (Professions tree): 4% higher chance of a skill-up from primary, secondary and class tradeskills.
- Dedicated Study (Professions tree): Raises your lowest primary or secondary tradeskill by 1. Once both primary tradeskills and all three secondary ones reach 300, it gives 2 to 4 random Elemental Essences instead. 25 sec cast, 23 hr cooldown.
- Field Medicine (Adventure tree): Recently Bandaged ends 5 sec sooner after you use a bandage.
- Reagent Economy (Resourcefulness tree): Class abilities no longer need reagents bought from vendors, and Tier 1 camping features cost no reagents to craft.
- Field Guide (Adventure tree): The cooldown for adding camping features is 8% shorter.
- Permanence (Resourcefulness tree): Your long-duration party and raid buffs, and the benefits of resting at a camp, last 50% longer.
