How we label Forever support

  • Official Forever build — the author or file list names WoW Forever or ships a Forever flavor with a version and date.
  • Community Forever branch — a fork or separate project clearly targets Forever; not the original author’s main release.
  • No official Forever build found — we did not find a Forever file on the main project; community options may exist elsewhere.
  • Needs recheck — the page moved, was blocked, or changed since the date shown.

What WoW Forever already includes

Before you add a meter, cooldown overlay or swing timer, check what Blizzard ships in the default UI:

  • Developers told MMORPG.com a built-in damage meter is planned for Forever. Until it ships, some players use community meter ports—see each card’s status.
  • The beta includes a Cooldown Manager in the default UI (still being expanded class by class). See our Cooldown Manager spell list for what it tracks today.
  • Blizzard’s addon Q&A for Midnight-era rules also applies to Forever’s API: many combat automation addons are restricted; prefer the game’s own cast bars and the built-in cooldown tools where they exist.
