A World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time gives access to Forever from Nov 4. There is no separate Forever subscription.
World of Warcraft: Forever has no box price: an active World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time covers it from launch on November 4, 2026. The editions on sale are optional upgrades. Here is what each one costs and includes, which ones get you into the beta, and what happened to the Collector’s Edition.

Euro prices are from the EU Battle.net Shop on Sep 17. The US Battle.net Shop showed us our local currency instead of dollars, so the US pack prices come from the press, including Warcraft Tavern’s copy of the US store’s comparison table in US dollars. The Collector’s Edition price is from the US Gear Store. The shop sells the upgrades in the Americas & Oceania, Europe, Korea and Taiwan regions and may show prices in your own currency.
Each pack includes everything in the cheaper pack before it. The shop also marks where each item works: some in both Forever and modern WoW, some only in Forever, and none in WoW Classic. The Collector’s Edition code unlocks the same items as the Collection.

You need to buy the riding skill in game before you can ride the Cerulean Prideclaw. Housing decor only works in modern WoW, where Housing needs World of Warcraft: Midnight, sold separately.
Buy nothing extra. Your subscription or Game Time covers Forever from Nov 4.
The Heroic Pack ($29.99) is the cheapest way to unlock the race, and it lets you reserve names for up to 3 characters from Oct 27 to Nov 3.
The beta closed on Oct 23, so beta access no longer sets the editions apart. The Epic Pack ($59.99) still adds 30 days of Game Time, which start at launch.
The Collection ($79.99) adds Warcraft III: Reforged and the Forsaken Kingdom campaign, which leads into Forever. Already owning Warcraft III: Reforged gives no discount.
Only the Collector’s Edition ($150) has physical items: the statue, a mousepad, art prints, pins and a journal.
The first batch sold out on the US Gear Store within the first week. On Sep 24 Blizzard made more English copies available in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, with timing up to each retailer, now limited to 1 per household on the Gear Store (the first batch allowed 3). Orders from that restock ship in February 2027, after the November 4, 2026 launch, while earlier orders keep their November 2026 date.
When we checked on Sep 25, the US Gear Store listing was back to Sold Out with a “Notify me when back in stock” button. Other regions’ retailers may still have copies; we haven’t checked them.

To play with the pack items before the box arrives, buy a digital edition on the Battle.net Shop. When you redeem the Collector’s Edition code before December 31, 2027, what you paid for that digital edition comes back automatically as Battle.net Balance, Blizzard Support says. Not every purchase qualifies: an upgrade you bought, such as Heroic to Epic, isn’t credited automatically (ask Blizzard Support), and Warcraft III: Reforged orders aren’t credited at all.
Shipping: the US Gear Store ships only to select places in North and South America, and local retailers in Korea, Australia and New Zealand sell their own Collector’s Editions. In Europe, Blizzard said on its forums that the store added a €45 standard shipping rate for orders of one Collector’s Edition to 27 countries, including the UK, Germany and France (Spain and Portugal weren’t listed), after a player reported a €191 rate. The code inside works in North America, Latin America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

No, but there is no separate game to buy: Forever is included with an active World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time. Without a subscription you can only play for a limited time: with the 30 days of Game Time in the Epic Pack or Collection, a friend’s Invite-A-Friend code for launch week, or the beta if the website sign-up picks you.
Playing costs your usual WoW subscription or Game Time. The optional editions are $29.99 (Skyborne Heroic Pack), $59.99 (Skyborne Epic Pack) and $79.99 (Warcraft Forever Collection) in the US, or €29.99, €59.99 and €79.99 in the EU shop. The physical Collector’s Edition is $150 on the US Gear Store.
No. The same World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time that covers modern WoW gives you Forever from launch.
The Epic Pack ($59.99) adds beta access, 30 days of Game Time, a second mount and transmog set, 4 pets and 2 tabards to everything in the Heroic Pack ($29.99), and takes your Invite-A-Friend codes from 1 to 3.
No. Beta access starts at the Skyborne Epic Pack; the Warcraft Forever Collection and the Collector’s Edition include it too.
Blizzard hasn’t announced a head start: everyone begins on Nov 4. What the editions give before launch is the beta (Epic Pack and up) and early name reservation with character creation, Oct 27 to Nov 3 (any digital edition).
The Skyborne Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection include 30 days, added at launch; the Collector’s Edition includes them through its Collection code. The Heroic Pack has none.
Yes. The Skyborne race and its Zephras Isle start need the Heroic Pack or a higher edition, and Invite-A-Friend codes don’t unlock it. More on the race itself on the Skyborne page.
In retail, yes: both mounts, both transmog sets, the rucksack and the Windwell toy work in Forever and modern WoW. The pets and tabards are Forever only, the Housing decor is modern WoW only and needs Midnight, and none of the items work in WoW Classic. What each mount asks for in game is on the WoW Forever mounts page.
On the US Blizzard Gear Store, yes, again: Blizzard restocked it on Sep 24 for North America, the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and the listing showed Sold Out when we checked on Sep 25. Restock orders ship in February 2027; the store has a button to be told when it is back.
$150 on the US Gear Store, before shipping and tax. One player on Blizzard’s forums said it comes to $178 after shipping, without saying where it ships to or whether tax is included. That is a player report, not a Blizzard figure.
Yes. Redeem the Collector’s Edition code before December 31, 2027 and the price of your digital edition comes back as Battle.net Balance. Upgrade purchases aren’t credited automatically (contact Blizzard Support), and Warcraft III: Reforged isn’t credited at all.
Yes. Blizzard Support lists upgrades from Heroic to Epic or to the Collection, and an upgrade brings your Invite-A-Friend codes up to 3.
No. Blizzard Support says owning Warcraft III: Reforged gives no discount on the Warcraft Forever Collection.
Yes, the Battle.net Shop has a Gift option. Gift orders don’t come with Invite-A-Friend codes, and Blizzard hasn’t clearly said whether a gifted Epic Pack brings beta access.
It is a limited-time bundle, on sale until January 11, 2027.
Codes you get with each edition (1 with Heroic, 3 with Epic or the Collection) and send to friends. From Nov 4 to Nov 11, they let a friend without a Forever upgrade play Forever without a subscription, though not as a Skyborne.
