Can I get into the WoW Forever beta?
Guaranteed with the Skyborne Epic Pack, the Warcraft Forever Collection or the Collector’s Edition; opting in is a chance. Game Time is not needed.

After the WoW Forever beta
- Beta characters are not kept. Blizzard says launch is on fresh servers, and in a BlizzCon interview its developers said everyone starts at level 1.
- Name reservation opens Oct 27 and runs through Nov 3: up to 3 characters per account with an upgrade, first come, first served. The steps are on the WoW Forever name reservation page.
- Launch is Nov 4 at 3:00 p.m. PST, worldwide at the same moment. The WoW Forever release date page has the hour in every time zone.
- Realms and rule sets for launch are on the WoW Forever servers page, and what your PC needs on the WoW Forever system requirements page.
Still unconfirmed
- The hour the beta closes on October 21; Blizzard’s roadmap graphic shows October 22
- Whether another build arrives before the beta ends, and what it changes beyond the racial changes the developers mentioned
- The client build of the opening day: our talent data starts from the first build read after it
- Which of the known issues listed as fixed in the next build are already fixed: Blizzard’s list still carries them
