Rogue talent FAQ

Is Mutilate a talent in WoW Forever?

Yes. Mutilate is a 1-rank Assassination talent at tier 5 (20 points), and the 31-point talent Venom requires it. Classic didn't have Mutilate at all.

What replaced the rogue weapon specializations?

Hack and Slash, a 5-rank Combat talent at tier 5. At rank 1 it gives axes and swords a 1% extra-attack chance, daggers and fists 1% crit, and maces 3% armor ignore. The four separate specializations from Classic are no longer talents.

Which rogue 31-point talents are new in Forever?

Venom in Assassination and Thousand Cuts in Subtlety. Combat keeps Adrenaline Rush. Vigor and Premeditation, the old capstones, are still talents at tier 5 and tier 4.

Did any rogue talents move between trees?

Two traded places. Improved Gouge moved from Combat to Assassination, and Improved Eviscerate moved from Assassination to Combat. Both are tier 1 talents.
