WoW Forever Crafting Planner
Pick the recipes you want to craft, how many of each and what is already in your bags: the planner adds up every material, crafts the bars, bolts and powders on the way, and lists what is still missing.
Recipes, reagents, counts and skills are read from the beta client (build 1.60.1.70170). Beta data can change before launch, and the client doesn’t say what vendors sell. Last checked .
What the WoW Forever crafting planner covers
The planner holds 2151 recipes of 9 professions, every one read from the beta client’s tables: 890 of them are new in Forever, the rest carry over from Classic with the reagents this client gives them. 1591 are taught by a recipe item; the planner names the item, but where it drops is server data the client doesn’t hold.
- Alchemy178 recipes · 1–300 route
- Blacksmithing438 recipes · 1–300 route
- Enchanting211 recipes · 1–300 route
- Engineering243 recipes · 1–300 route
- Leatherworking509 recipes · 1–300 route
- Mining14 recipes
- Tailoring410 recipes · 1–300 route
- Cooking120 recipes · 1–300 route
- First Aid28 recipes · 1–300 route
- Left out: 238 Season of Discovery recipes the client still carries (not confirmed for Forever), camp objects (they have the camping planner) and recipes without reagents.
- Not in the client: vendor stock, prices, drop sources and trainer lists. Nothing on this page marks a material as vendor-sold, because no table says so.
- Skill beside a recipe is where it turns yellow, and the list is sorted by it. The client doesn’t hold the skill a trainer asks before teaching a recipe; each profession’s page shows the full orange, yellow, green and grey range.
How the materials are worked out
- Intermediate crafts: 157 materials are themselves made by a recipe in the data. 142 of them are crafted on the way unless you choose “Buy it instead”: bars from ore, bolts from cloth, powders, cured hides.
- Bought first: the other 15 stay on the shopping list unless you choose “Craft it myself”: materials whose recipe has a cooldown in Classic (Elemental Fire, Essence of Earth, Essence of Fire, Essence of Water, Essence of Air, Arcanite Bar, Living Essence, Essence of Undeath, Mooncloth, Legionite Bar) and leather, which a recipe can make from lower leather but skinning brings home (Light Leather, Medium Leather, Heavy Leather, Thick Leather, Rugged Leather).
- Shared materials are added before rounding. The example plan (5 × Rough Copper Bomb, 2 × Rough Bronze Leggings, 4 × Linen Bag) needs 16 Copper Bar across its recipes; with 10 owned it smelts 6 more, and 63 items of 5 raw materials remain.
- Batches: a recipe that makes several at once is crafted in whole batches, so three of something made two at a time is two crafts and one left over.
- What you own is used before anything is crafted, at every level: owning an intermediate removes the raw materials under it.
- Sharing: the page address always holds the plan. Copy it to send the plan to someone, or come back on this device and it opens as you left it.
Where the materials come from
- Herbs, ore, leather and fish by skill: Herbalism, Mining, Skinning and Fishing.
- Leveling a profession instead of crafting a list: each crafting profession’s page has a route from skill 1 to 300 with its own shopping list, such as Blacksmithing or Tailoring.
- What changes for professions in Forever, and the Legacy points they give: WoW Forever professions.
Still unconfirmed
- Final recipes and reagent counts: these are beta numbers and can change before launch
- Which recipes keep their Classic cooldown in Forever; the planner assumes the Classic ones
- Where recipe items drop or are sold, and which reagents vendors sell
- Whether the Season of Discovery recipes in the client will exist in Forever
