What Blizzard has said about Blackmaw Hold

The What’s Next panel took the audience behind a gate in Azshara into what Blizzard called a huge furbolg city, where the furbolgs are struggling against some kind of corruption.

Blizzard made a point of how deep the tunnels under the hold run, and tied them to the Barrow Deeps: the raid has three entrances in the world, one of them in Mount Hyjal, and the tunnels here are hinted to be another way in. What is known about the raid is on the WoW Forever raids page.

It is at levels 55–60 in Kaivax’s September 15 table, and one of the five dungeons with an official screenshot.

Where Blackmaw Hold is

The hold is behind a gate in Azshara; Wowhead’s dungeon overview puts that gate — the furbolg gate — in the north of the zone.

The raids it points at open on Dec 9, five weeks after Forever launches.
