WoW Forever Reputations

Pick a faction and the standing you have with it: the list shows every item the beta client locks behind that reputation, what you can already buy and what the next standing adds.

Factions, standings and item requirements are read from the beta client (build 1.60.1.70291) and compared with the Classic Era client. Beta data can change before launch, and the client doesn’t hold how reputation is earned. Last checked .

What the WoW Forever reputations list covers

The beta client has 54 reputations a player can see: 14 are new in Forever, the rest are Classic Era’s. 29 of them gate at least one item, 637 items in all: 402 pieces of gear, 185 recipes, 2 mounts and 48 other items. The League of Arathor has the longest list, with 80.

Example: Nightclaw Druids at Friendly sells 32 of its 49 rewards, and Honored adds 16 more.

  • One reading of “needs a reputation”. A reward is listed when its item row names a faction and a standing: the same reading the WoW Forever BiS lists and each class’s weapon planner use for the gear they keep behind “needs rank or reputation”.
  • Classic Era source. 118 battleground rewards carry a standing and no faction in every client row; their faction is the one of the Classic vendors that sell them (cmangos/classic-db). 51 more have their requirement only in the Classic Era data. Both are marked on their cards.
  • Left out: 9 new items whose row asks for a standing and names no faction anywhere, and 25 listed factions that no item row points at.
  • My class keeps the items your class can use. With a talent tree chosen, gear is ordered by the BiS lists’ score for that tree (307 of the rewards have stats to score); nothing else is ranked.
  • Not in the client: prices, the vendor of a new reward, where a faction lives and how its reputation is earned.

8 of the 14 new reputations already gate items in the beta client. Each card opens the faction in the browser above:

How reputation is earned

  • The client doesn’t hold it. Quests, kills, turn-ins and the reputation each gives are server data. Nothing on this page states an amount.
  • Darkspear Islands (official): each side has a reputation for the new battleground, its vendors sell gear and consumables at several standings, its reputation quests take Marks of Honor, and a short quest line after Exalted gives a tabard. The client lists 22 rewards for each side. More on WoW Forever PvP.
  • Legacy (official): reaching Exalted with a battleground reputation is a Legacy challenge worth one point. See the WoW Forever Legacy system.

Where the rewards lead

Still unconfirmed

  • Whether every reward in the beta client can be bought at launch, and at what price
  • How each new reputation is earned, and how much reputation anything gives
  • Which faction the 9 new items with a standing and no faction belong to
  • Whether the Classic factions keep their Classic vendors and standings
