A Black Market Auction House at Powderfuse Port

Beta players found two goblins at Powderfuse Port in the Riverglades: Madam Swyndle runs a Black Market Auction House, and Mister Graphed sells top-end reagents at fixed prices, Black Lotus and Arcane Crystal for 50 gold, with no limit.

Where it is

Powderfuse Port is the goblin harbor on the Riverglades coast (about 78, 52), not Farholde Keep. The new boat from Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris docks there. Madam Swyndle runs the auction house; Mister Graphed, next to her, is the reagent vendor.

What the auction house sells

Bids start around 100 gold. Most of the gear Wowhead saw is Classic’s Dungeon Set 1, reworked for Forever, with companion pets and tabards among the lots. The Black Market Auction House first appeared in Mists of Pandaria.

The reagent vendor caps prices

Mister Graphed sells the reagents that ran up to extreme prices in Classic at a fixed price and without a limit, which puts a ceiling on what players can charge for them. Some sell for well above their vendor value, so gatherers aren’t undercut: Pyrite costs 5 gold from him and sells to vendors for 1 silver. The cards above show the ones Wowhead named, with the beta client’s own tooltips.

What this means for you

  • No 1,000-gold Black Lotus. A vendor price puts a ceiling on raid consumables’ top reagents.
  • Gold has a sink. The auction house and the 150-gold Gift of Galloping give gold somewhere to go.
  • It’s beta data. Prices and lots can change before launch on November 4.
